NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission will host its ninth annual Easter Celebrations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the following parks:
- Joe W. Brown Park, 5601 Read Blvd. (New Orleans East)
- Lafitte Greenway, 1971 St. Louis St. (Mid-City)
- Morris F.X. Jeff, Sr. Park, 2529 General Meyer Ave. (Westbank)
Children of all ages are invited to join the Easter Bunny and should bring their baskets for the annual egg hunt. Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes, with distinct golden eggs available at each location containing special prizes and treats. Family-friendly activities include face painters, spacewalks, and field games. Refreshments will also be provided.
