International Trade Leaders to Converge on Louisiana for Weeklong Economic Showcase Event

NEW ORLEANS — Decision-makers and economic leaders from more than 20 countries will explore investment and partnership opportunities across the state at the 14th Americas Competitiveness Exchange from March 26 to April 1. 

The weeklong itinerary will showcase the state’s economic resilience, reflected in five consecutive years of capital investment growth even as the pandemic severely disrupted global supply chain economics. Delegates will meet with leaders from established & emerging economic sectors – from energy, advanced manufacturing, and agribusiness to software development, healthcare innovation, water management, and more.

Local ACE spotlights include:
●  The Port of New Orleans will showcase the state’s logistics superiority and demonstrate the groundbreaking SmartPort initiative that is putting Louisiana’s waterborne commerce on the cutting edge of digital technology.
●  New Orleans BioInnovation Center and BioDistrict will host a discussion about the dramatic expansion of the life sciences sector throughout Louisiana.
