NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans Department of Sanitation today reminded residents and businesses at eligible properties serviced by the City of its solid waste and recycling collection schedule for Mardi Gras Day.
Outside of the French Quarter and Downtown Development District (DDD), there will be no curbside solid waste collection at eligible properties serviced by the City on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Daily curbside solid waste collection for eligible properties within the French Quarter and DDD will not be affected on Mardi Gras Day. Curbside solid waste will be collected Wednesday, March 2 for households affected by this change.
There will be no curbside recycling citywide at eligible properties serviced by the City of New Orleans on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Curbside recycling will resume Tuesday, March 8 for households affected by this change.
Residents should visit nola.gov/sanitation/schedule for their respective sanitation service provider and schedule.
