NEW ORLEANS — St. Anna’s Episcopal Church is kicking off its annual jazz concert series, Down in Treme, with a free concert this Thursday, February 10, 7 to 8:30 p.m. featuring the Jackson Square Allstars, a rotating group of accomplished local musicians from bands such as Treme Brass Band, Olympia Brass Band, and the Paulin Brothers’ Brass Band, announced Program Director Darryl Durham.

Down in Treme is a monthly Thursday concert series featuring live music and drinks at the historic St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, 1313 Esplanade Ave. The 7 p.m. concert series aims to support Treme as a cultural hub for music and musicians. Money raised benefits music and cultural programs hosted by the church’s community program, Anna’s Place NOLA.
Down in Treme is sponsored by The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, the City Council of New Orleans, Treme Artist Collective, and Harrah’s. Tickets are available at Anna’s Place NOLA Eventbrite for $25, or on the series’ Facebook and Instagram sites.
