NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans-born, all-day brunch restaurant Ruby Slipper has announced it will open its second Metairie location, at 4236 Veterans Blvd. near Clearview Mall, in the soon-to-be rebranded Clearview Commons in Summer 2022. This marks the 9th restaurant located in Louisiana with a total of over twenty Ruby Slipper and sister brand, Ruby Sunshine locations across six states.
“We are excited to open a second location in Jefferson Parish, giving residents another spot to enjoy our famous eggs Benedict and eye-opening cocktails,” said Peter Gaudreau, CEO of Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group. “We are also committed to being a part of this community by providing more jobs to the workforce and helping to revitalize a part of Veterans Blvd.”
Ruby Slipper will offer a vibrant and inviting atmosphere for the local community. The restaurant will have a 4,000 square foot space with indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to welcoming guests, Ruby Sunshine is excited to offer job opportunities to a local team or Krewe. Hiring for Ruby Slipper Clearview Commons will begin in early 2022.
Ruby Slipper offers New Orleans-inspired twists on traditional Southern brunch favorites, including Eggs Benedicts, Beignets, Bananas Foster Pain Perdu and seasonal offerings, as well as eye-opening cocktails. Ruby Slipper uses fresh and local ingredients whenever possible, preparing meals to order from scratch kitchens and giving back to the communities it serves.
