KENNER/JEFFERSON — Discovery Schools, in partnership with Three O’Clock Project, are hosting FREE drive-thru dinners on Tuesday, September 28th, starting at 5 PM. The event is open to the public.
Dinners can be picked up from Discovery’s Loyola campus located at 3837 Loyola Drive in Kenner or Dr. John Ochsner Discovery (DJOD) located at 1108 Shrewsbury Road in Jefferson. Loyola pick-ups should enter the line from Vintage Drive. Those picking up at DJOD should enter the line from Arnoult Road.
The meals will be served cold with instructions on heating at home. A total of 2,000 meals will be distributed (1,250 meals at Loyola and 750 meals at DJOD). The meals are provided by Three O’Clock Project.

About Three O’clock Project
Three O’clock Project (TOP) was founded in 2017 in response to continued needs in communities across Louisiana who are challenged by food insecurity. When the school bell rings, many students head home to vulnerable situations where food insecurity and other systemic injustices are present. TOP brings the opportunity for increased food security for youth in at-risk areas as a sponsor to serve meals after school and during the summer months at no cost to recipients. Since 2017, TOP has grown across Louisiana and now serves 70+ organizations statewide in a collective pursuit of ensuring all children have increased access to nutritious food and enrichment opportunities.
