New Orleans Education League of The Construction Industry (NOEL) Announces Terrytown Façade Program, Phase II

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Education League of the Construction Industry (NOEL) is pleased to announce the Terrytown Façade Program, Phase II. The program is intended to spruce up properties and provide impactful visual changes to enhance the appearance of the home and neighborhood. Up to $8,500 per home may be awarded for exterior enhancements of the home through a lottery system.

Eligible homeowner properties must be within the boundaries of:

  • Whitney Blvd. to Wright Avenue, between Belle Chase Highway and Holmes Blvd.

OR

  • Behrman Hwy. to the Plaquemines Parish line, between Holmes Blvd. and Belle Chasse Highway.

Eligible repairs for this program include the front exterior of the properties, including:

  • Landscaping
  • Repair or replacement of front doors, windows and shutters
  • Repair of soffit, fascia & rotted wood
  • Repair or replacement of driveways and sidewalks
  • Painting on replacement items

Homeowners who need assistance with the application process may visit the Terrytown Library, 680 Heritage Avenue, Terrytown, LA on Thursday, September 11 from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM or Thursday, September 18, from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM.

This program is in partnership with Jefferson Parish Councilman Tim Kerner, Louisiana State Representative Vincent Cox and Louisiana State Senator Tim Connick and Jefferson Parish Finance Authority, JEDCO, and NOEL.
