NEW ORLEANS – The Krewe of ALLA announced the selection of beloved Southern voices and media personalities, Landon and Kate Bryant, as the Grand Marshals for its 94th annual Mardi Gras parade.
The parade, rolling on the traditional Uptown route on Wednesday, Feb. 11, will celebrate the cosmic theme, “ALLA Shoots For The Stars.” The Krewe of ALLA is one of the oldest and most celebrated parading organizations in the New Orleans area.
Landon Bryant, known across social platforms (@landontalks on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok; @landontalksalot on YouTube), is a widely celebrated Southern storyteller. His signature “let’s discuss” videos, delivered with a warm Mississippi drawl and a generous dose of humor, unpack the quirks of Southern language and culture in each clip. His down-home charm and sly wit have earned him features in publications ranging from Southern Living to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and even a memorable appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Landon’s wife and creative partner, Kate Bryant, is an artist, educator, and performer who co-hosts his popular podcast and frequently appears in his content, adding her own sparkle to the conversation. Together, the Bryants celebrate Southern culture with humor and heart, making folks everywhere feel like they are part of their front-porch conversation.
“Kate and I are beyond excited and truly honored to serve as Grand Marshals for the Krewe of ALLA parade this year,” said the Bryants in a joint statement. “This will be our first time experiencing Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I’ve only ever celebrated in places like Covington and Mandeville before, so we’re thrilled to see the full NOLA magic up close. Being invited to roll with the Krewe of ALLA, one of the city’s oldest krewes, is something we never imagined. We’re just so grateful and can’t wait to take it all in and share that Mardi Gras joy with everyone along the route.”
Krewe of ALLA’s Captain, Adam Strickland, expressed the organization’s enthusiasm for the choice, saying, “Landon and Kate have been phenomenal ambassadors in sharing with the world all of the things we hold near and dear about living in the South and I am thrilled to have them leading ALLA’s 94th parade this year.”
The Krewe of ALLA’s 94th parade will follow the Krewe of Druids on the traditional Uptown route. The organization and its members share they look forward to a truly out-of-this-world celebration led by the charismatic Bryants on Feb. 11.
