About Joan Sheridan

Prior to joining Chaffe McCall, Joan defended individuals, national corporations, and insurance companies in complex wrongful death, personal injury, negligence, and premises liability matters throughout Missouri and Kansas. After relocating to New Orleans, she served as a judicial law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Eva J. Dossier of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, gaining valuable insight into federal litigation and judicial decision-making.

Joan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Joan’s addition comes during a period of significant growth for Chaffe McCall. The firm recently welcomed Lisa Fitzpatrick as a Partner in the Insurance Practice Group in New Orleans.
