Morrow Hospitality to Launch Multi-Day Hospitality Conference

NEW ORLEANS – Morrow Hospitality is launching a new national platform with the debut of Southern Hospitality Weekend, a multi-day hospitality conference taking place from Jan. 16-18 in New Orleans. Organizers share this conference is bringing together operators, entrepreneurs, investors and cultural leaders for candid, business-forward conversations about access, ownership and leadership in today’s hospitality economy.

Founded by entrepreneur Larry Morrow, Morrow Hospitality has evolved from event production into a multifaceted hospitality group, renowned for curating destination nightlife experiences and culturally relevant brands.

“Hospitality employs millions of people in this country, but ownership and access remain limited,” said Larry Morrow, founder of Morrow Hospitality. “Southern Hospitality Weekend was created to move the conversation from inspiration to execution, real tools, real relationships, and real opportunity.”

Southern Hospitality Weekend is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees from the restaurant, hotel, nightlife, finance and related industries. Programming includes keynote addresses, workshops, fireside chats, live culinary and mixology demonstrations, and curated networking experiences designed to foster collaboration, deal-making and long-term growth.

The speaker lineup blends hospitality, finance and culture, featuring Grammy-nominated artists and restaurateur and investor Rick Ross; renowned culinary creator Keith Lee; Marc H Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League; Pinky Cole Hayes, founder and CEO of Slutty Vegan; Earn Your Leisure co-founders Troy Millings and Rashad Bilal; Chef and Owner of Compère Lapin Nina Compton; and Cleveland Spears III, Spears Group CEO and Executive Producer of the National Fried Chicken Festival.

With an emphasis on human connection and in-person engagement, Southern Hospitality Weekend is set to reflect a broader shift toward experiential business convenings that drive deeper relationships and measurable outcomes across industries.

The conference will take place at the Contemporary Arts Center, located at 900 Camp St. in New Orleans.
