NEW ORLEANS – Tujague’s in New Orleans is the birthplace of the tradition we know as brunch. This Fall, the restaurant is unveiling a variety of new offerings including New Orleans Barbecued Shrimp with grilled French bread; Gulf Shrimp Remoulade Salad served in a Boston bibb lettuce cup, with pickled red onion, and a boiled egg; Eggs Benedict which changes monthly; Tujague’s Brisket Bowl with tender brisket, peppers, onion, tomatoes and garlic, tossed with fried new potatoes, and topped with fried eggs; Pain Perdu a Brioche French Toast dusted with cinnamon sugar, espresso cream, strawberry rum syrup, candied pecans, powdered sugar, orange zest, and candied bacon; Tujague’s Chicken Biscuit with fried chicken thigh glazed with crystal honey sauce, country gravy, and served on a buttermilk biscuit; and the Shrimp Étouffée Omelet with sautéed tail-on shrimp, creole trinity, parmesan cheese.
The restaurant also offers a bottomless mimosa brunch add-on experience for $22. Brunch is available on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
HAPPY HOUR: Celebrate the season with Tujague’s Fall Happy Hour, available from 3–5 p.m. daily. Unwind in the heart of the French Quarter with a curated selection of $6 wines, $7 classic cocktails like the Old-Fashioned and French 75, and $4 local beers and seltzers. Pair your drinks with small plates like Fried Artichoke Hearts tossed in fresh lemon, parmesan & spices served with lemon caper aioli; Oyster Canapés – four fried French bread toast points, tomato citrus jam, roasted garlic, fried oysters, lemon beurre blanc, and smoked salt; Creole Red Bean Dip – mashed red beans with broiled pepper jack cheese, truffle okra citrus relish, chives, & French bread toast points; and the signature Tujague’s Smash Sliders– three Angus sliders smashed with caramelized onions on Hawaiian sweet bread with bacon jam, dijonaise, goat cheese & sweet potato shreds.
