NEW ORLEANS – Chef Emeril Lagasse and the team at 34 will celebrate Portugal Day this June. On Sunday, June 8, from 2-6 p.m., guests can head to the restaurant and celebrate the national holiday in the Warehouse District.
Dia de Portugal is a day that honors Portuguese history and is celebrated, traditionally, on June 10. The team shares that the day is a day of pride and connection to Portuguese communities around the world and Chef Emeril wants to bring that to New Orleans at his first dedicated Portuguese restaurant.
Chef and team say guests can expect a spread of traditional Portuguese bites, drinks and great music. DJ C’est Funk will be live throughout the afternoon.
There will be food stations with dishes like pork belly bifanas, suckling pig, pastéis de nata, and more. Enjoy vinho verde, Super Bock, Sangria, and specialty cocktails, all included with your ticket.
