NEW ORLEANS – King Cake Headquarters, a partnership between Smoke Line Brand LLC and two local favorites — Central City BBQ and Las Cruces Tex Mex — is officially rolling out a new, diverse king-cake selection in the area on Jan. 6, 2026. Customers can now walk into either location and choose from an evolving lineup of the city’s top king-cake makers, which the companies share are curated for freshness, flavor and Mardi Gras spirit.
The group shared that the concept was born when Michael Rito of Smoke Line Brand LLC approached Central City BBQ about bringing his network of popular king cake bakeries directly to the public through two neighborhood storefronts. That simple idea quickly grew into a full-scale seasonal destination for king-cake lovers.
For the King Cake Headquarters, the goal was simple: make it easy for anyone to walk in and grab a top-tier king cake without driving across the city or hunting down individual shops.
