The Gospel According to Sam, a Collection of Humorous, Heartfelt Spiritual Stories, Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

Sam, a resilient Airedale terrier, is back with even more stories

MANDEVILLE — Twenty years ago, Sam became a national star after a book about this resilient Airedale hit the market. Sam, who survived a house fire yet lost both ears, became a symbol of healing, joy, and grace. Author Bill Miller uses Sam’s adventures and personality to explore themes of faith, compassion, and the unexpected ways animals teach us about spiritual insight in everyday life.

Barnes & Noble in Mandeville, Louisiana, will host a book signing celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the second edition of the popular book by Episcopal priest, humorist, and author William Miller. The reprint includes new stories about life and the loveable Airedale, Sam.
