“The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is more than an event—it’s a movement that brings our community together to fight this devastating disease,” said Lesley Anne Rey, Walk Manager of the Alzheimer’s Association, Louisiana Chapter.
Nicole Kavanaugh, 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee Chair and Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, added: “Every step we take, and every dollar raised, brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. This kickoff is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate our progress, and show support for those impacted by this disease.”
We are also excited to announce that Darryl Forges, WDSU morning anchor, will serve as the emcee for the New Orleans Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 18, at Shrine on Airline.
