NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana native Marc Broussard will bring his signature ‘Bayou Soul’ to Tipitina’s on Friday, Dec. 19. His show will include songs from his latest album, “Time is a Thief,” along with beloved fan favorites. The show begins at 8 p.m.
“Time Is a Thief” is a collection of 10 original songs that the artist’s team says showcase the celebrated Louisiana singer-songwriter’s gritty, rootsy hooks and infectious grooves, all conveyed through his fervent vocals. The album marks his first release of original music in seven years and features the uplifting single “Give You The World.” The album has been hailed as “a new masterwork that transcends his previous body of work like the crown jewel does the ascent stones,” by Blues Rock Review. Louisiana’s The Advocate said the album “represents Broussard’s soul- and rhythm-and-blues-informed style better than anything that preceded it.” STREAM/DOWNLOAD TIME IS A THIEF
