NEW ORLEANS – The Historic New Orleans Collection is inviting the community to celebrate the start of Carnival season in true New Orleans fashion at the Shop at the Collection’s annual King Cake Kickoff. Guests are invited to don their finest purple, green and gold and enjoy live New Orleans jazz, appearances by the Merry Antoinettes, and free samples of king cakes from beloved local bakeries. The event also highlights king cakes and related products available for purchase in-store beginning on Twelfth Night, Jan. 6.
