NEW ORLEANS – Creole Cuisine Cares announced its third annual gala event, set for Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Broussard’s Restaurant & Courtyard. This evening, organizers share, will once again gather community members and friends to uplift those facing hardships and illuminate the power of compassion.
“Every dollar raised in 2024 stayed right here in our community,” said Marv Ammari, CEO of Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts. “With God’s grace and His people serving as His hands and feet, we were blessed to raise over $250,000 – each gift a lifeline for someone in need.”
Among the most transformative outcomes of last year’s gala was a $190,000 investment to build the kitchen at the Mission Pantry inside the Giving Hope Retreat in Lacombe, Louisiana. Now a cornerstone of Louisiana’s largest anti-hunger network, this facility distributes nearly one million pounds of food annually, nourishing more than 20,000 residents across St. Tammany Parish.
Creole Cuisine Cares also extended its reach to the New Orleans Mission, providing $12,500 in meals to guests seeking refuge and renewal. An additional $25,000 was allocated for medical supplies and critical-need medications, easing the burden for those managing chronic illness. Another $10,000 was dedicated to clothing, offering comfort and dignity to those in transition.
In partnership with Celebration Church in Arabi, Creole Cuisine Cares contributed $22,500 to serve meals to students at Chalmette High in St. Bernard Parish – helping families facing food insecurity with dignity and care.
Tickets for the 2025 Gala are now available. Individual tickets are $250, while VIP tickets are $500 and include early access to a cocktail reception featuring premium food and drinks. VIP tables for four or ten guests, including reserved seating and cocktail reception access, are also available.
