NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission today announced that it is seeking individuals, organizations, and other entities to apply for 2026 summer program partnerships. These partnerships will support NORD Summer Camps, which serve youth ages 4-12 and teens ages 13-15.
Key dates and details for the Summer 2026 partnership process are as follows:
Application Release Date: Friday, Oct. 3
Technical Assistance Workshops (Mandatory for all applicants):
Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at Milne Recreation Center (5420 Franklin Ave.)
Thursday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Milne Recreation Center (5420 Franklin Ave.)
Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. at Milne Recreation Center (5420 Franklin Ave.)
(Note: Applicants must attend one session, but do not need to attend all.)
Application Deadline: Friday, Nov. 14 by 5 p.m.
Providers will be required to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the City of New Orleans before their programs can be activated once their applications are approved.
