NEW ORLEANS – DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) – in partnership with the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program, The American Culinary Federation – New Orleans Chapter, Thrive Community Center, and additional community partners – announced the return of its annual Christmas Toy and New Clothing Giveaway. The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thrive Community Center located at 3600 Desire Pkwy.
The giveaway is free and open to the public, providing toys and new clothing to children between 3 and 13 years of age. Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be present with a parent or guardian in order to receive items. No pre-registration is required.
