NEW ORLEANS – Mélange by Cali Sober at Bamboula’s, the first non-alcoholic, functional and THC beverage bar on Frenchmen Street will officially open above Bamboula’s — the hottest live music club in the heart of the Faubourg Marigny Music District.
The bar is the latest venture from New Orleanian Monica Olano, a mom of three with a national following as Cali Sober Mom — a mom of three preschoolers who has spent years advocating for the sober movement and functional and THC beverages.
Olano opened Cali Sober Market this past March — a boutique retail shop on Veterans Boulevard designed to provide support and education to consumers while selling a curated collection of hard-to-find beverages. With its quick success, she is now addressing what she sees as another hole in the marketplace by offering sober and sober-curious partygoers a place to enjoy a real cocktail experience right on Frenchmen Street.
Forget the typical juice and soda “mocktail,” Mélange by Cali Sober Market will offer specially curated, one-of-a-kind zero-proof cocktails that offer the look, taste and even the feel of a traditional cocktail in part through the use of adaptogens — natural substances like herbs and mushrooms that have been found to have a wide array of benefits, including combating stress, anxiety and fatigue and boosting mood.
Mélange by Cali Sober at Bamboula’s is the first to offer an elevated drinking experience with all the fun without the hangover in a uniquely New Orleans space above the party complete with its own balcony overlooking Frenchmen Street.
