NEW ORLEANS – This month, MaMou and Chef Tom Branighan will welcome James Beard-nominated Chef Michael Correll of Ruse (St. Michaels, Maryland) for a one-night collaboration dinner celebrating the flavors of the Gulf South and the Chesapeake Bay. The collaboration is also a reunion; Correll and Branighan first worked together while coming up at Lacroix, Jean-Marie Lacroix’s acclaimed restaurant at the Rittenhouse in Philadelphia.
The four-course dinner will take place on Sunday, March 15, at MaMou, 942 N. Rampart St.
The team says the dinner will highlight the natural overlap between the flavors of the Mid-Atlantic and Louisiana coasts, featuring dishes such as Chesapeake Bay oysters, a “Gulf Seafood Boil” terrine with crawfish and blue crab, Blue Crab Cacio E Pepe, and a strawberry soup with crepe farcie.
The tasting menu is $175 per person, with two optional wine pairing selections available. Reservations are available now on Resy.
