NEW ORLEANS — Once reserved exclusively for the families of the Treme area served by St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, this in-demand after-school enrichment and tutoring program for students aged 5 to 18 or grades K-12 is now open to all families in the Treme and 7th-9th wards, announced Program Director Brianna Carr.
The Fall Program starts Sept. 20, 2021, and will run for 12 weeks through December 11, 2021, offering after-school activities from 3:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. The program offers tutoring and homework help; art, instrumental and vocal music lessons; dance; cultural enrichment and history; yoga and other physical activities; college prep programming; as well as meals, snacks, transportation and educational field trips.
