Ages 5 to 16; register by Tuesday, June 15
NEW ORLEANS — Anna’s Place NOLA Summer Camp program is now open for registration, announced Director Brianna Carr.
Two sessions featuring art, dance, music, STEM education, field trips and other activities, will be open to any New Orleans area residents between the ages of five and 16. The camp is held daily, Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 4:30 pm at Anna’s Place NOLA, 1313 Esplanade Ave.
Registration is limited to 50 children. Cost for the four-week camp is $400, with a $25 registration fee. Scholarships for qualified families are available. Parents or guardians must be willing to attend a mandatory parent orientation, according to Ms. Carr.
The first camp session, which includes field trips, lunch and transportation, is from June 21 to July 2; the second camp session is from July 12 to 23.
Anna’s Place NOLA is a community outreach and enrichment program offered by St. Anna’s Episcopal Church. During the school year, it operates an after-school program for children ages five to 18 with a focus on supplemental instruction in STEM subjects, as well as arts enrichment, subject tutoring, and meal/transportation services for its participants.
