Parade of Homes Runs Saturday and Sunday, June 22&23 and 29&30, 1-5PM
NEW ORLEANS – The 2024 Parade of Homes presented by Troyer Builders and James Hardie is hosted annually by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) and offers inspiration and information to potential homebuyers. It serves as the area’s best opportunity to tour new homes and see the latest innovations in new building construction, remodeling, wind mitigation, and industry trends such as adaptable and multi-purpose layouts, combined open air living spaces, lighting, and plumbing finishes, textures, colors, and more. Attendees can also receive expert advice from trusted builders, designers, lenders, and real estate professionals.
This year’s Parade features a total of 20 amazing homes (including one remodel) by 16 area builders. The homes can be seen in person each Saturday and Sunday of the Parade from 1-5PM on the weekends of June 22&23 and 29&30.
Select homes can also be seen virtually starting July 3 (following the in-person tours), using Matterport’s innovative 3D virtual tour technology on the “New Orleans Parade of Homes” mobile app (available from the App Store or Google Play), and on the HBAGNO/Parade of Homes website. The app features a full list of this year’s Parade homes with locations, directions, a range of prices, builder contacts, sponsors, and vendors.
While spring and summer continue to be the most popular times for families to consider their housing needs, the Greater New Orleans Parade of Homes is inspirational for those planning to build, renovate or move to a new neighborhood, as housing needs continue to evolve. While search criteria varies from person to person, many people continue to seek homes that offer style, increased space, and affordability, as well as comfort, safety, and a sense of community. This year’s Parade homes span neighborhoods across the greater metro area, including Lakeview, Lake Vista, English Turn, The Parks of Plaquemines, Arbors Estates, Planters Estates, Hamilton Oaks, Ashton Plantation, Bonnabel Place, Old Metairie, Jefferson Heights, University City, Louisiana Trace, Gabriel Estates in Kenner, and Country Club Gardens in Destrehan.
“This year’s Parade offers a variety of homes in neighborhoods that reflect the diverse tastes and budgets of potential homebuyers across our community,” said Dan Mills, CEO of the HBAGNO. “As we continue to monitor key housing issues affecting potential homeowners, such as homeowner and flood insurance, we are excited and proud to once again showcase the work of our area’s most innovative builders, subcontractors, and vendors who provide inspiration while building strong relationships in the communities they serve.”
Additionally, HBAGNO is a proud supporter of the St. Jude Dream Home®. Proceeds from the annual raffle support St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
