Ochsner Health CEO Pete November Selected to Serve on the Committee of 100 for Economic Development

NEW ORLEANS — The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. has selected Pete November, chief executive officer of Ochsner Health, for membership in 2023. The Committee of 100 for Economic Development Inc is Louisiana’s Business Roundtable promoting public policy that makes Louisiana more competitive in retaining existing business and industry and attracting more innovative businesses to Louisiana.

C100 Chair Wayne Brown of Brown Builders – Shreveport stated, “Pete is a welcome addition to our membership. He brings a wide range of experience and skill.” C100 Secretary/ Treasurer Scott Ballard of Ballard Brands, LLC who nominated Mr. November concurred, “Pete is an advocate for Louisiana and will be an asset assisting C100’s efforts in business retention and recruitment.”

Ochsner Health is Louisiana’s leading not-for-profit academic health system and its largest private employer. Through its collaborative Healthy State initiative, Ochsner Health partners with government, non-profit and business organizations to create healthier, happier and more productive communities, with health equity at the forefront of these efforts. Mr. November was named CEO of Ochsner in 2022 after serving in numerous senior leadership positions within the organization since 2012. Instrumental in many of Ochsner’s recent milestones, Mr. November shepherded several significant partnerships, improving healthcare access for tens of thousands of community members across the region.

Prior to being named CEO, Mr. November served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Ochsner, leading accounting, financial planning and analysis, reimbursement, revenue cycle and financial operations for the system. In this role, Mr. November also oversaw the information services, real estate, supply chain and partnerships and integration teams.

Mr. November is a graduate with a degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. For nearly 15 years, Mr. November has proudly called Louisiana home with his wife of 29 years and two adult children.
