NEW ORLEANS – International Champion of Magic and New Orleans’ own Michael Dardant will take center stage on the television series “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” on Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. CST on The CW Network. ABOUT MICHAEL DARDANT
Known professionally as “Magic Mike” (#NotThatMagicMike), it is said Dardant has established himself as one of the most accomplished magicians in America today. In a three-year span, he collected over 30 first-place and championship awards, making him the most decorated magician in the United States. This achievement qualified him for the World Championships of Magic (FISM) in Italy, where he placed in the top 10 globally in the Parlour Magic category.
Dardant’s performance style blends expert sleight-of-hand with his trademark Cajun wit and Southern charm. A fixture in the New Orleans’ French Quarter, he has earned notable accolades for his innovative routines and engaging personality. Among his many distinctions, Dardant holds a peculiar local honor as the first male in 45 years to win the New Orleans “Greasing of the Poles” Competition during Mardi Gras 2015.
