NEW ORLEANS — Argent Financial Group is proud to honor businesswomen in six markets across three states as part of its American Business Women’s Day celebrations.
Established more than 40 years ago by President Ronald Reagan, American Business Women’s Day, observed annually on Sept. 22, recognizes the vital contributions of millions of women in the workforce and as business owners across the U.S. The day celebrates the diversity of occupations held by women and promotes opportunities for personal and professional growth through leadership, education, networking, and philanthropy.
Jodi Penn Rives, focus leader for Argent’s Women | Wealth | Wellness, said, “We are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of these women who inspire others with their leadership and vision. Each of these honorees exhibits outstanding leadership skills, makes a positive impact in her community and has mentored others in their career development. Argent Financial Group will continue to support women in business and create new opportunities for growth as they serve as role models, mentors, catalysts and risk takers in their communities.”
