NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), the region’s premier and GRAMMY Award-winning orchestra, joins forces once again with two-time Grammy winners LOST BAYOU RAMBLERS to relive their performance that was awarded Best Regional Roots Album by the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Joining the LPO and Lost Bayou Ramblers for this festive celebration of Louisiana French culture is New Orleans’ own SWEET CRUDE (@sweetcrudeband). LIVE WITH THE LPO: LOST BAYOU RAMBLERS & SWEET CRUDE brings together three of Louisiana’s cultural powerhouses in a dynamic presentation of Cajun culture through music. New Orleans based band SWEET CRUDE’s indie-pop melodies steeped in Louisiana French tradition and the LOST BAYOU RAMBLERS’ raw Cajun rhythms fused with sweeping sounds of the orchestra create a powerful display of Louisiana’s cultural soundscape. The musical selections performed by the LOST BAYOU RAMBLERS and the LPO are a reproduction of their Grammy award-winning album Live: Orpheum Theater NOLA recorded on Jan. 15, 2023.
