NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission today announced it will host a career fair Friday, March 31, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Tremé Rec Center located at 900 N. Villere St. The agency has been hosting monthly job fairs since January, which have resulted in 10 new hires and over 50 applicants.
NORD hiring managers will be conducting on the spot interviews for various permanent and seasonal positions from entry level to front line management. Interested participants must have work eligibility documents present such as a passport/government issued ID and recent resume. All permanent positions require domicile in Orleans Parish.
Current open positions include the following:
- Lifeguard I
- Rec Center Assistant
- Office Worker
- Rec Program Manager
- Laborer
- Rec Site Facilitator
- Summer FT/PT positions
