Priority Health Care to host Back to School Health & Wellness Fair

GRETNAPriority Health Care‘s (PHC) Pediatric Clinic is hosting a Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 12 Westbank Expressway, to get students off to a healthy start this school year.

“We know that the start of the school year is an exciting time for students,” said Dr. Anna Villanueva, nurse practitioner for PHC’s pediatric clinic. “Before students catch-up from summer break, we want to help parents make sure to catch them up on their wellness exams and vaccines,” she added. “They’ll be sharing stories as well as germs, so keep them healthy with preventive care.”

While PHC is offering sports physicals and vaccinations, they will also have loads of fun things for kids to do including carnival games, face painting, movies, music, refreshments, and snowballs to close out the summer. For more information call 504-509-KIDS (5437). Click here (English)(Spanish).

Note: There are no “out-of-pocket” costs. With or without health insurance you will not be turned away. However, if insured, please bring your insurance card.
