NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the highly anticipated E-Sports Lab at the Milne Recreation Center. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, marking a significant step forward in providing innovative programming for the youth of New Orleans.
The Milne E-Sports Lab, along with the newly completed facility at the Cut-Off Recreation Center in Algiers, demonstrates NORD Commission’s commitment to equipping youth across the city with access to innovative technology and recreational programming. These labs provide safe and inclusive spaces for teens to explore the world of e-sports, develop gaming and tech skills, and engage in both recreational and competitive play.
