NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans is proud to announce Step Up & Lead, an empowering event aimed at connecting young professionals and people of color with valuable opportunities to serve on the City’s boards and commissions. This event is designed to inspire and engage individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in areas such as housing, transportation, economic development, arts and culture, and more.
Step Up & Lead provides a unique opportunity for those who want to have a direct hand in shaping the future of New Orleans. Participants will learn about the various boards and commissions, their role in city governance, and how they can apply to serve in these influential positions. Whether you’re a passionate advocate for housing policy or eager to contribute to the city’s cultural growth, there is a place for you to step up and make a difference.
