NEW ORLEANS – The City of New Orleans announces that starting Friday, Nov. 1, exterior and window cleaning of various City buildings will begin. These buildings will include City Hall, Civil Courts, and the City Hall Annex Building.
Exterior pressure washing will be performed by Rolling Suds New Orleans and Alpha Drones, while window cleaning will be handled by ACME Window Cleaners and Geaux Stars. The innovative pressure washing will be completed via “soft wash” with drone technology to preserve the delicacy of the buildings. Once the pressure washing drones are completed, the window cleaning will begin to address the remaining restoration.
This work is expected to enhance appearance, preserve deterioration, and restore healthy working spaces once completed. During this time, early morning and evening weekend work will be required, and crews will strategically adjust one portion of the building at a time. The workflow approach chosen will ensure building functionality continues as restoration progresses.
