Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Engagement Announces Open Registration for 2024 Neighborhood Summit

NEW ORLEANS – The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Engagement announced today that registration for the 2024 Neighborhood Summit is now open. The summit will return to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (900 Convention Center Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70130) on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The annual Neighborhood Summit celebrates the strength, history, and diversity of our city’s neighborhoods, bringing together community leaders, non-profit agencies, and city government.

At the Summit, attendees will have the opportunity to attend workshops ranging from Public Safety, Infrastructure, and Quality of Life. Several City departments and agencies will be included in the Summit resource fair. Dozens of free prizes, giveaways, and attraction passes will also be available!

Complimentary breakfast will be served starting at 8 a.m., along with complimentary lunch. The first 200 registrants will receive free parking.

This event is FREE, and the registration deadline is Friday, Nov. 8 or until we reach capacity, as space is limited.

The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office is the City’s permanent mechanism for public participation in government decision-making. The office creates opportunities for dialogue, information sharing, partnership, and action between City government and neighborhood residents and leaders.
