Drivers Save Over $380K in Waived Late Fees Through City’s TICKET AMNESTY PROGRAM

NEW ORLEANS — With strong momentum building toward the August 31 deadline, the City of New Orleans ticket amnesty program is delivering meaningful relief to drivers across the community.

So far, nearly 1,000 participants have cleared more than 2,100 tickets, avoiding more than $386,000 in late fees. Over $84,000 in payments have already been processed, with another $140,000+ currently scheduled through flexible payment plans and more coming in every day.

The amnesty program waives late fees on parking tickets over 30 days old and traffic camera tickets from before June 1, giving drivers a clear, penalty-free path to resolve unpaid citations. The City created this program to help residents and visitors by removing financial barriers.

Drivers can pay in full or enroll in an interest-free plan, all online, with no office visit required. The platform is available 24/7 and mobile-friendly, making it easy for people to check eligibility and take action in minutes.

Anyone can participate, whether you live in, work in, or have visited New Orleans.

Program Results So Far:
● 514 payment plans started
● 477 paid in full
● $386,000+ in late fees waived
● $225,000+ in total payments processed or scheduled

Time is running out to take advantage of this relief. Check your eligibility and join nearly 1,000 drivers who’ve already saved money through the program at nola.gov/nolatefees.

The deadline is August 31.
