Appeals, Age/Disability Freeze and Homestead Exemption applications due by August 18
NEW ORLEANS — Assessor Erroll Williams is reminding Orleans Parish property owners that the 2023 assessment rolls will be open for public inspection from July 15, 2022, through August 15, 2022, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Anyone interested in meeting with office staff to discuss their property assessment is strongly encouraged to schedule an online or in-person meeting using the online scheduling system at nolaassessor.com or by calling 504.754.8811. The link to schedule appointments will go live on July 14.
Walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis if there are appointments available for that day.
If a property owner does not want to discuss their assessment with staff and would rather submit a formal appeal to the Board of Review (BOR), an appeal can be submitted on the E-FILE page at nolaassessor.com from July 25, 2022, until 4 p.m., August 18, 2022.
Property owners may alternatively download and print the appropriate BOR form from the “Forms” page on nolaassessor.com. Please be advised that you must submit four (4) copies of the BOR appeal form and all supporting materials for BOR appeal submissions by hand or mail.

- Algiers Courthouse, 225 Morgan Street, 1st Floor
- Lakeview Christian Center, 5885 Fleur De Lis Drive, 2nd Floor
REMEMBER: THE OPEN ROLLS PROCESS WILL END AT EXACTLY 4PM ON MONDAY, AUGUST 15, SO GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE THAT DATE. YOU MAY FILE AN APPEAL THROUGH 4PM AUGUST 18.
