Tujague’s Brings Back $18.56 Menu + Happy Hour

NEW ORLEANSTujague’s announced the return of its two-course weekend brunch menu, priced at only $18.56. A nod to the restaurant’s founding year, the affordable brunch will be served every Saturday and Sunday, offering locals and visitors a chance to experience one of the city’s most storied dining institutions without breaking the bank.

The menu, under the direction of Executive Chef JD Eubanks, offers diners traditional favorites with a modern twist. Patrons can enjoy a choice of starters, which includes the Petit Salad — mixed greens, pickled beet medley, orange supremes, goat cheese crumbles, lemon zest, and candied pecans with a sweet Creole vinaigrette; Boudin Balls with house-made pepper jelly; and Gumbo du Jour – Chef’s creative daily chicken and sausage gumbo. Entrees include a choice of Tujague’s Breakfast Platter — Tujague’s chicken, pork, apple, and maple sausage, house-made biscuits with satsuma jam and butter, two (2) eggs your way, and grits or house potatoes or Eggs & Hash Skillet – Andouille hash with red potatoes, peppers and onions, topped with hollandaise, poached eggs and pickled green tomato relish.

Tujague’s has also just introduced Happy Hour. Available at the bar daily from 3 – 5 p.m., the restaurant features a variety of drink specials: $6 glasses of Tujague’s private label wines ($20 for a bottle); $7 cocktails including the Old-Fashioned, Paloma, French 75, Cosmopolitan, and the Marigny Mai Tai (featuring local rums), and $4 select beers.

Tujague’s $18.56 brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.mHappy Hour is served daily from 3PM to 5PM. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. Tujague’s is located at 429 Decatur St. in the French Quarter.
