The Bower to Host Taste of Tequila Dinner

NEW ORLEANSThe Bower is pleased to host “Taste of Tequila,” a five-course dinner featuring Proximo Spirits – one of the oldest tequila brands in the U.S. – highlighting the Cristalino Portfolio of Tequila.

Showcasing season-forward dishes, Executive Chef Marcus Woodham invites visitors to indulge in a culinary & cocktail experience with a thoughtfully curated menu paired with craft tequila cocktails created by Beverage Director Mickey Mullins. Priced at $175 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) The menu follows:

First Course

Blue Corn Pupusa

Lobster escabeche and salsa verde
Pairing: Spring Fling

Second Course

Smoked Baby Corn Elote 

Lime, chili, pickled red onion, cotija, and  fried anchovies 

Pairing: Centaur

Third Course

Octopus Chicharrones

Avocado, radish, orange, cilantro, crema, and chorizo dust

Pairing: Pa-scuze-me

Fourth Course

Roasted Goat Radiatore

Baja rubbed goat, spicy tomatillo broth, salsa seca, and queso fresco

Pairing: Mother Marg

Fifth Course

Salvadoran Quesadilla

Sesame seeds, espresso pudding, sweet leche, and honeycomb candy

Pairing: Creyente Azul Neat Pour
