NEW ORLEANS – Reconcile New Orleans will host SUNdays at Reconcile beginning Sunday, June 22. The first in a series of three family-style dinners, the organization says SUNdays at Reconcile will celebrate the joy of a shared meal and meaningful conversation centered around what it means to be a New Orleanian. Guests will enjoy courtyard cocktails, a locally inspired, fixed menu created by Chef Martha Wiggins, and live music.
SUNdays at Reconcile launches a series of special events and programs to celebrate 25 years of impact and sets the stage for a new chapter for the workforce development nonprofit. Future SUNdays at Reconcile dinners will be held on July 27 and August 24, each with a unique menu.
“SUNdays at Reconcile is more than enjoying a meal. It’s about connection – creating community, engaging in conversation, and celebrating New Orleans culture,” said Kheri Billy, Reconcile CEO. “Connecting with our community has been at the heart of Reconcile’s mission for 25 years. Working together, we can create a future where all young people have access and opportunity to reach their unique potential and become positive forces in our community.”
The Courtyard Lounge will open at 12:30 p.m. and stay open until 5:30 p.m. Meal service will run from 1-4 p.m., with rolling seating every 30 minutes. The cost for dinner is $80 per person.
Reservations are available on OpenTable. Guests purchasing fewer than six tickets will be seated at a communal table. Guests may reserve a full table for six or eight guests. Please note that guests reserving a full table will be responsible for filling all seats at their table.
Chef Martha Wiggins’ locally inspired, fixed menu for June 22 includes:
Salad
peaches, Creole tomato, ricotta, pecan crunch, hot honey (contains sesame)
Beans
baked, smoked pickle meat, molasses
Corn

“There’s something special about coming together over a meal. It opens the door for real connection and conversation,” said Chef Martha Wiggins. “Food is a bridge to meaningful dialogue and creates a shared experience that is at the heart of New Orleans culture. A meal shared at Reconcile is a meal that supports young people in our community.”
