Palm&Pine Launches Guest Chef Dinner Series

NEW ORLEANS Palm&Pine is launching a new collaborative guest chef dinner series, Summer Heat Check, with the first dinner happening Thursday, June 13!

Summer Heat Check is held at Palm&Pine on select Thursday’s and is currently taking place now through September, featuring a series of guest chefs from restaurants around New Orleans. The five-course dinners will begin at 7 p.m. and Palm&Pine will open for pre-dinner cocktails at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited and only available with a reservation – see HERE to book.

The first dinner kicks off this Thursday, June 13, and is a celebration of seasonal veggies and local farmers who will also be in attendance. Chefs finishing up the roster include Amanda Alard of Que Pasta NOLA; Marcus Jacobs of Porgy’s, Marjie’s and Seafood Sally’s; Gabriel Balderas of Zuzul and El Cabo Verde; Susan Spicer of Rosedale and Bayona, and closing out the series is Alex Harrell of Angeline.

In addition to the chef series, Palm&Pine is paying tribute to the Queer community and celebrating the powerful history of lesbian bars in New Orleans with a lesbian pop-up bar, The Soiled Dove Tribute. The pop-up bar occurs one Thursday a month from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. and the inaugural pop-up is happening on Thursday, June 20. All are welcome but catering to the Queer woman of New Orleans is the top priority for this event.
