Parisian-inspired café opens in the French Quarter, featuring Congregation Coffee and locally sourced fare
NEW ORLEANS — Omni Royal Orleans is excited to announce the opening of Fifi Parée, a charming new coffee shop that brings Parisian elegance to the heart of the French Quarter. Named after the first cat to cross the English Channel by airplane—an adventurous feline with ties to New Orleans’ own aviation history—Fifi Parée is styled as a French flower shop and features hand-painted murals of native flora, striking black-and-white marble flooring and lush green tones throughout.
Open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the hotel’s lobby adjacent to check-in, the café will serve New Orleans’ own Congregation Coffee, offering a selection of beverages alongside a curated menu of grab-and-go items, pastries and sweets.
Guests can enjoy drip coffee, espresso-based drinks and specialty offerings like the Honey Jasmine Cappuccino, Noix De Coco Au Lait, Bourbon Praline Frozen Coffee, Vietnamese Cold Brew with condensed milk and Satsuma Cold Brew with salted sweet cream foam. Matcha, tea, lemonade and alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer and seltzers are also available. The grab-and-go fruit and salad items include Bananas Foster Greek Yogurt, Ponchatoula Strawberry with Steen’s cane syrup and Greek yogurt, Boudin Caesar Salad, Tuna Niçoise and a Chopped Salad with goat cheese, pistachio and an olive oil lemon vinaigrette.
Sandwich offerings include Goat Cheese & Tomato Baguette, French Country Ham & Gruyère Butter Baguette and Char Siu Pork Belly Bánh Mì Wrap. Ayu Bakehouse’s fresh-baked Butter and Chocolate Croissants, along with sweet and savory pastries, Bourbon Croissant Pudding, cookies and classic New Orleans Pralines, round out the menu.
Fifi Parée opens as part of the hotel’s complete renovation, a grand reimagining that honors the property’s rich heritage. The transformation includes the addition of The Royal Bar Music Lounge, The Royal Bar, a reimagined La Riviera Rooftop, Pool and Restaurant, and a refreshed Rib Room, all to open by early 2026.
