No Meat, No Problem! Reveillon Vegetarian-Style at The Bower

NEW ORLEANS – The holiday season is upon us and in New Orleans, that signals Reveillon. In celebration of this timeless tradition, The Bower — the culinary darling from Latter Hospitality Group (Tujague’s, Birdy’s, Claret Wine & Cocktail Bar) – will showcase the freshest ingredients from partner farm, Sugar Roots. Executive Chef Marcus Woodham has created a four-course vegetarian menu sure to tantalize even the carnivores in your life. Priced at $54 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) the Reveillon menu is available Dec. 1 – 30. Menu follows:

First Course

 Honey Whipped Mascarpone

with Luxardo cherries, chili flakes and focaccia

Second Course

choice of
 Maggie’s Mushroom Arancini 

with romesco and rosemary oil

 or

Squash Carpaccio

with roasted garlic, aged balsamic, onion, radish and basil vinaigrette

Third Course

choice of

 Eggplant Parmesan

with Sugar Roots eggplant, mozzarella, basil, San Marzano tomato sauce and swiss chard

 or

Basil Spaghetti

with pesto, preserved lemon, oven dried cherry tomatoes and burrata

Fourth Course

 Cookies and Italian pastry cream
