NEW ORLEANS – Cochon Butcher has announced a rare tap takeover with Holy Mountain Brewing (Seattle, Washington) on Saturday, Oct. 12, beginning at 11 a.m. Six unique draft beers will be available by flight or a la carte plus five additional pours from an outside satellite bar. This event is non-ticketed and no reservations are needed. Bar seats are first come, first served, but all the beers will be available throughout the restaurant.
“We are elated about this event,” said Zack Shelton, Butcher’s general manager. “Many of these beers never leave their brewery, never mind Washington State-this is a real gift for beer lovers in New Orleans and frankly, the whole south. P.S. Don’t miss chef’s fried chicken special that day!”
The Holy Mountain draft beers include their Festbier, Cone & Cone Fresh Hop IPA, 1019 Fresh Hop Pale Ale, Garden Green Fresh Hop IPA (collaboration w/ Brujos Brewing), Sacred Geometry Farmhouse Ale, and Crystal Sphere Messenger Munichwine (collaboration w/ Private Press Brewing). The satellite bar pours are Midnight Still 2023 Imperial Stout (draft), Sacrament: Malbec Wild Ale (bottle), Temples Crumble At Her Feet Wild Ale (bottle), Garden of Light Saison (can), and The White Lodge Witbier (can).
Holy Mountain was founded in Seattle in 2014. Within the first year, it had brewed over 100 different beers, fulfilling its philosophy of “brew what we want to drink.”
