NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute’s (NOCHI) March 2024 cohort of Culinary Arts students will host Bamba, a pop-up restaurant featuring a menu inspired by culinary traditions spanning Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Bamba will be open for lunch beginning Tuesday, Feb. 27, at NOCHI’s downtown campus, 725 Howard Ave.
The Bamba menu and dining experience have been designed by the June 2024 cohort as their capstone project and culmination of NOCHI’s 100-day culinary training and certification program. “During Bamba NOCHI students put their hands-on instruction to the test,” said Gerald Duhon, NOCHI Executive Director. “This eight-day restaurant experience highlights our students’ skills and creativity and provides them the opportunity to interact with guests including potential employers and industry leaders,” Duhon added.
