Children’s Hospital’s Back to School Boogaloo Returns July 13

NEW ORLEANS – Children’s Hospital New Orleans is helping New Orleans kids and families get back-to-school ready with the second annual Back to School Boogaloo – a health, wellness and resource fair.

The event will focus on educating families about resources they can use to bolster the health and wellness of their children before school starts. Families will have access to free vaccinations, sports physicals and primary care and dental resources. In addition, children will have the opportunity to receive free haircuts and school supplies. Families are invited to take advantage of this event to prepare for the school year ahead and enjoy an array of activities such as games and performances from NOLA Public Schools marching bands.

The community is invited to donate school supplies as part of the back-to-school events by visiting www.chnola.org/schoolsupplies.

Presented by NOLA Public Schools, Agenda for Children, Children’s Hospital New Orleans and New Orleans East Hospital with support from Councilmember Oliver Thomas.
