NEW ORLEANS – The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is proud to announce the dates for its annual holiday Teddy Bear Tea, beginning Dec. 1 and running until Dec. 27.
Guests are invited to join in on this one-of-a-kind holiday journey, complete with visits from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and more holiday friends. Delicious treats including savory snacks, specialty teas and delectable desserts will keep guests content through the merriment, with sparkling wine and mimosas available for purchase by adults. Teddy Bear Tea includes holiday story time with Mrs. Claus, pictures with Santa available for purchase and a flurry of North Pole visitors parading through the ballroom. Each child will also leave with the famous Roosevelt Teddy Bear, a keepsake collected by generations of guests, symbolizing the priceless memories of a true New Orleans Christmas.
Santa and his elves are hard at work preparing for this popular event to delight and inspire children of all ages. Dates and times for this year’s Teddy Bear Tea seatings are as follows:
General reserved seating starts at $72.00 for children ages 3-10, and $95.00 for adults and children 11 and older. Limited VIP reserved seating is available starting at $103.00 for children ages 3-10 and $113.00 for adults and children 11 and older. This VIP package includes Roosevelt champagne flutes for adults, one commemorative photo with Santa per family and premium seating near the stage. General and VIP seating for children 2 and under is $5.00.
For those interested in a premium Teddy Bear Tea experience, The Roosevelt New Orleans offers the Golden Table package, which provides premier front and center seating by the stage for 10 people, a signature holiday cake designed by our head pastry chef, elevated champagne offerings and keepsakes for children and adults. In addition, Santa and all his holiday characters will personally visit the table and sign holiday books for the children. Pricing for this exclusive package is $1,800.00. All pricing excludes taxes, service charge and gratuity.
Guests are also invited to visit our renowned holiday display in The Roosevelt lobby, illuminating the space with more than 112,000 lights, 4,000 ornaments and 1,600 feet of garlands.
