NEW ORLEANS – In honor of Southern Decadence and NOLA Cocktail Week, The Eliza Jane is inviting locals and travelers to enjoy a variety of unique F&B offerings – ranging from the return of their beloved drag brunches at Couvant, to specialty offerings at the iconic lobby lounge and bar The Press Room, there is something for everyone to try.
- Glitter & Grits: Drag Brunch: On Saturday, Aug. 30, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Couvant will be hosting Glitter & Grits, a fabulously indulgent drag brunch with live performances by two queens from Trixie Minx Productions, a three-course menu, and cocktails with attitude. Guests can add bottomless mimosas, sangria, or brunch punch for $28, or sip something stronger with themed cocktails like Fit for a Queen and I Came to Slay. $55 per person, reservations available HERE.
- Fizzing with Pride: Available from Aug. 28 – Sept. 1, Fizzing with Pride is a sparkling tribute to love in all its forms. Crafted with Ford’s Gin, passion fruit, lemon juice, and tonic water, this effervescent sipper. Garnished with dehydrated lime and served tall in a Collins glass, it’s the perfect way to toast Pride Month in the Crescent City. For those looking for something spirit-free, The Press Room also offers offer a zero-proof version made with Ritual gin, so everyone can join in the celebration.
- The Press Room Celebrates New Orleans Cocktail Week (Sept. 15-21): As a part of New Orleans Cocktail Week celebrating the city’s best bars and restaurants, The Press Room inside The Eliza Jane Hotel has two specialty offerings:
- For only $10, guests can sip on the signature Sherry Darling cocktail made with Lunazul Tequila, Manzanilla Sherry and Pamplemousse.
- Or the perfect pairing of a house martini and frites for only $11. Guests have the choice of house vodka or gin, vermouth, with a twist or olives.
