St. James Cheese Company Hosts Cheese Bite Competition

NEW ORLEANS – St. James Cheese Company, along with the French-American Chamber of Commerce Gulf Coast, is hosting The Cheese Bite Competition in the spirit of this year’s Bocuse d’Or Competition.

The Bocuse d’Or, named after legendary French chef Paul Bocuse, is one of the world’s most prestigious culinary competitions. Held biennially in Lyon, France, it brings together top chefs to create elaborate dishes within a set timeframe, showcasing their technical skills and creativity. Known for its intensity and high standards, the Bocuse d’Or is a coveted prize that can significantly elevate a chef’s career, offering international recognition and acclaim.

On 11th, 12th and 13th June 2024, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center will host the two continental selections of the most prestigious international culinary and pastry competitions, showcasing the best pastry chefs and cooks from all over the American continent. Finals will be hosted in France in 2025.
