St. Anna’s Church Presents Electric Yat Orchestra Concert Series, Debuting November 11th

Treme’s St. Anna’s Episcopal Church now home to Electric Yat Orchestra’s concert series

NEW ORLEANS — St. Anna’s Episcopal Church has long served the Treme area and surrounding neighborhood with various programs for youth, families in need, and the music and art scene native to the downtown area. Now, it is also providing a home to the Electric Yat Orchestra and a series of concerts through the end of the year, announced Anna’s Place Interim Director Darryl Durham.

The ticketed concert events, which support the musicians who perform regularly as part of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, can be accessed online through Event Brite at https://www.eventbrite.com/d/la–new-orleans/electric-yat-quartet.

Upcoming concerts, all held at 7 pm, are at the church located at 1313 Esplanade Avenue:

  • Thursday, Nov. 11 featuring Dankner with Jesse Reeks
  • Friday, Nov. 19 featuring pianist Andre Bohren and the music of the Beatles and Queen
  • Wednesday, Dec. 8, featuring Andre Bohren solo
  • Wednesday, Dec. 15, featuring Gershwin! music
  • Wednesday, Dec. 22, featuring a Swinging’ Christmas concert
